Miller Heiman Team Expands to Accommodate Growing Customer Needs

RENO, NV -    -   Miller Heiman, a prominent leader in sales performance consulting, announced today it has made several personnel appointments to accommodate the needs of its growing customer base.

“For more than 30 years, we’ve worked alongside our clients as concerned partners invested in their success,” said Sam Reese, president and CEO of Miller Heiman. “This approach has provided great insight into the changing needs of sales leaders and the marketplace. We are excited to augment our team with experienced professionals and know that the promotions we’ve made will fortify our ability to better support both current and new customers.”

The company has hired Paul Fornelli, Richard Goldman, and Jamie Tarrant to join the sales, products and client services teams respectively. Brendan Hawkins, Kaye Lingad and Paul Nelson have been promoted to positions that will have a direct impact on the growing needs of customers.

Fornelli has been appointed director of sales for Miller Heiman. He was most recently a district sales manager for ADP's TotalSource division, in which he was responsible for delivering PEO solutions for the small and mid-sized business space. Prior to that, Paul dedicated more than 10 years to the wholesale banking business for HSBC and Barclays in which he held leadership positions in both as the southwest regional sales manager. Fornelli will be responsible for lead generation business, including identification, evaluation and acquisition of new opportunities.

Goldman joins Miller Heiman as product manager primarily for the company’s sales planning and communication tools, bringing more than 15 years of project management experience. Goldman was most recently at Microsoft Licensing, where he gained a reputation for leading projects to successful, and often under-budget, completion. Goldman will be responsible for assisting in the development of product marketing strategies and in the cultivation and expansion of Sales Access ManagerSM capabilities.

Tarrant joins Miller Heiman’s client services team where she will apply more than 15 years of inside sales and customer support experience in her new role of supporting the company’s sales channel. Tarrant spent more than 10 years with Graybar Electric, where she had a key role in building and maintaining the client base and ensuring customers received solutions. Tarrant will be focused on providing logistics and operations support to Miller Heiman sales consultants and directly to clients as they implement Miller Heiman solutions.

Having been with the company for more than six years, Hawkins will utilize his experience in a new role, director of client success, where he will be responsible for identifying and leveraging client success best practices. In his previous capacity, Hawkins managed the company’s Sales Access ManagerSM solution, fostering it through its inception and leading efforts to increase the technology’s value to clients.

As marketing manager, Lingad will be responsible for the creation and distribution of all Miller Heiman marketing publications. Since her start in 2005, she has played an integral part in the company’s marketing efforts, from web-content management to print campaigns to online newsletters. Prior to Miller Heiman, Lingad was the public relations officer for Holy Angel University, the largest university in Central Luzon, Philippines, augmenting her already-extensive understanding of public relations and marketing practices. In her new role, Lingad will collaborate with senior executives in driving the company’s editorial direction in order to continue developing Miller Heiman’s reputation as an authoritative voice on sales.

Nelson has been promoted to product manager for the company’s expanding portfolio of products, coming from a position working directly with Miller Heiman customers in the sales department. Prior to Miller Heiman, Nelson managed the marketing and sales of a large, multi-state real estate portfolio for Industrial Realty Group out of Chicago. In his new position, Paul will be responsible for managing Miller Heiman’s instructor-led programs (including flagship methodology Strategic Selling ®) and launching two new products. Overall, Nelson will be monitoring the sales of these products and providing opportunity support to the sales team globally.

“We’ve made these appointments because these individuals are well-suited in their new positions, but also because they bring a commitment to achieving customer results,” said Reese. “As Miller Heiman continues to expand its global footprint and provide solutions to more customers, I’m confident this is the team that will enable us stay focused on our number one priority: the customer.”
