Miller Heiman Courses Approved for University of
Phoenix Credit
RENO, NV -
August 12, 2009 -
Professionals who invest in Miller Heiman sales performance programs are now eligible for college credit at University of Phoenix. As a result of a new agreement, students who have completed Miller Heiman programs such as Strategic Selling®, Conceptual Selling® or Large Account Management Process (LAMP®), will receive credit toward a bachelor's degree.
"We recognize that many professionals are working hard to complete their education and excel in their jobs at the same time," said Leigh Hooker, vice president of sales operations at Miller Heiman. "This new relationship provides our past, current and future clients a new alumni benefit—progress in their educational endeavors."
According to Hooker, most universities are rich in marketing and management courses, but lack instruction in sales.
"Sales is a key business function that has traditionally gotten little attention from universities," Hooker said. "Miller Heiman courses fill in the gap by providing top-notch instruction to students who aspire to succeed in this profession."
University of Phoenix students who have completed Miller Heiman courses are encouraged to contact Miller Heiman to request documentation of completion. Students who are interested in completing a Miller Heiman program for University of Phoenix credit can call 775.284.9051 for more information or register online at www.millerheiman.com/workshop.
